The UK government is following tier 4 system for student visa applications. The Tier 4 Student (Adult) visa is for students who intend to undertake any post-16 education at a United Kingdom institution in a full-time course. The Tier 4 Student (Adult) visa is flexible and allows students to participate in both short and long-term courses of at least 6 months in duration.
To qualify, students must have a confirmed offer of enrolment from a licensed education provider (sponsor), be able to maintain and accommodate themselves (or be maintained and accommodated by a host) while they are studying and show that they are able to pay their course fees.
50 Points Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies. That shows you have met the course requirement, approved qualification requirement, level of study requirement, and place of study requirement .
10 Points Financial requirement. 10 Points are awarded for finances. Unless you are from a country that doesn't exempt you from providing documentary evidence, you must be able to show that you have the required money to cover the costs of your tuition, accommodation and maintenance (living costs) in the UK.
10 Points English language proficiency. Students who are not coming from a majority English-speaking country and who are entering the University to do degree level study need to provide evidence that they are proficient in English to the level of CEFR B2 (for example, IELTS 5.5 in each of the four components.
The University will require higher levels of English proficiency depending on the level of studies and subject, and such requirements will be stated in your offer letter.

• Get public funds
• Work as a professional sportsperson, including a sports coach
• Study at an academy or a local authority-funded school (also known as a maintained school)
• You may be able to bring in family members (dependants).
